By an amazing coincidence, my random shoe chooser program chose the exact same pair of shoes today as it did yesterday, just in a different color - white instead of black. These ones are the correct size for me though, unlike the black ones that were a little small, so the straps on these don't cause me any problems. They are also very comfortable, probably the most comfortable pair of 4 1/2-inch heels I have in fact... so things can only go downhill from here. :-(

Just like yesterday's shoes, these really have a 5-inch heel, but they also have a little platform under the ball of my feet, so wearing them is just like wearing 4 1/2-inch heels.

I'll be wearing these to bed tonight, and I only have to go out briefly later on to drive Mistress Phoenix to the mall to buy pantyhose, so it looks like I should get to spend very close to 24 hours in them.

I don't really have much of anything interesting to write today. I didn't have to work today, and didn't have much else to do either, so I've basically just been sitting at my desk doing computer things while wearing my shoes.

There was one interesting thing that happened to me today that might be of interest to the foot fetishists out there though, even though it's not exactly a shoe thing... Mistress Phoenix requires that I wear high heels whenever I am at home. That makes perfect sense of course, but she's never told me what she expects me to wear when I have to go outside, but when I'm not really leaving the vicinity of the house (like when I'm taking out the trash for instance.) I didn't think she'd want me to wear my heels outside, since the neighbors might find it peculiar, so up to now I had just been putting on regular, flat shoes when I had to do such things. Last night I asked her about it though, and I expected her to either tell me to keep wearing regular shoes, or to wear something like my high heeled work boots. Instead her response was "well, since it's winter and cold, you should go out barefoot." This morning I had to bring the trash cans in from the curb, to the back of the house - about 100 feet each way. It was only 18 degrees and there's a good inch or so of snow on the ground. Just at dawn, after finally getting my courage up, I took my shoes and stockings off and went for it. I moved as fast as I could, but holy cow was it ever cold! My toes were so cold that they actually hurt by the time I got inside. I just dried off my feet though, put my pantyhose and heels back on, and curled up with a nice warm cup of hot chocolate until my feet felt better. More amusement at my expense for Mistress Phoenix. :-)

It looks like trash night (and the morning after) are going to be a very different experience for me from now on!
