High Heel Training Diary, Day 15
Today's shoes are a pair of blue slingbacks. They are too small for me, but it was another case of seeing shoes I wanted, not having any other size choices available, and deciding to buy them anyway, even though I knew they really didn't fit. I often buy shoes that are too small for me it seems - something that women have been doing to torture themselves for years, "in the name of fashion." Fortunately since they only have two straps on each foot, they are not all that uncomfortable to wear anyway, and only the front straps are really tight.
It is hard to describe exactly how these shoes feel. Even though I usually have very good balance even in very high heels, these just don't feel very stable - no matter how careful I am, they feel "wobbly" (which makes me feel somewhat helpless in them - a good thing.) And because the straps in front are too tight, but they are very close to the front of the shoe, they only feel tight when I step in to them - so when I'm sitting they feel fairly normal, but when I get up and walk around, with each step I feel my feet being squeezed. It's a strange, but not at all unpleasant feeling.
I don't have much else to write about tonight unfortunately. I had to work today, so I didn't get to put my shoes on until about 6:30 pm. I will have them on until morning though, unless I take them off to quickly run out to the store a little later on.

Tomorrow is Mistress Phoenix's company Christmas Party. The party will be until very late, and we are actually staying at a hotel there with her co-workers for the night, so she has instructed me to suspend my high heel training for the day. So, there will not be any diary entry tomorrow night, as I take a very brief hiatus from my training. :-( I will be back on Saturday though, do not fear.
