High Heel Training Diary, Day 39
Some good news - I made it through the night in last night's shoes, and did not have to resort to putting on my more comfortable sandals. I know that I am also going to be able to do so tonight, because the shoes that were chosen for me today are very comfortable shoes, I would say the most comfortable pair of 5-inch pumps I own in fact, they just fit like a dream and I could wear them forever. (Which proves it is possible to make comfortable high heel shoes, so why is it that most of them are so darned painful?)
Today's shoes are just plain pumps though, with no straps, so per Mistress Phoenix's rules, I will be wearing my locking shoe cuffs to bed tonight to make sure there is no possibility of my shoes accidentally slipping off while I am sleeping. I do not even keep the keys in the same room with me where I sleep. It is bed time now as I am writing this, so I have already put the cuffs on and taken a quick photo of them, it is the last one on this page.
I have been working quite a few hours lately, so not spending as much time in my heels as I would like. I feel that my training is going well though, my body has adapted well to the 5-inch heels already, and I can walk gracefully in them without any awkwardness or stiffness. I can't wait until I get in to even higher heels and have my ankles stretched even further, it is just a wonderful feeling. I know that I must proceed at the proper pace and wait until I have completed my 5-inch heel training before moving on. There are still 42 pairs/days of 5-inch pumps remaining. Hopefully by then I will have mastered the discomfort that some of these shoes cause me and be able to not only walk gracefully in them, but be able to endure them for indefinite periods of time.
Then it will finally be time to move on to 5 1/2-inch heels.
