This handmaid was caught stealing from her Mistress. She was stripped, then placed in stocks and flipped over onto her back with her bare feet sticking up in the air.

She will have her soles whipped and her bottom holes tormented with feathers and fingers until she admits to all of her other crimes and identifies other maids in her household who have also stolen from her Mistress. Even though no other maids have stolen anything, she will give up two names to her Mistress in order to end her own torment. Those innocent maids will take her place in the stocks to be likewise punished when the Mistress is done with her. All of the 'thieves' will be branded and sold as slaves. This is the law.

All three slaves were purchased by a close friend of the Mistress, who used her influence to allow the two 'named' former maids to have full 'whipping privileges' to punish the dishonest handmaid whenever and however they choose. At least some true justice will come out of this.
